Who we are

Pleasant Prairie Tallow was founded by Naomi Birmingham in Red Deer, Alberta. Naomi has a bachelor degree in Health and Human Performance and a masters degree in Health Sciences as a physician assistant. She is passionate about natural ways to health.

She first became intrigued by tallow from testimonials of friends who shared with her about how tallow had transformed their skin. As a lover of science, Naomi began doing her own research and was fascinated by the science behind why grass-fed tallow is so highly beneficial to the skin.

Naomi quickly went from using tallow balm, to making tallow balm, to selling tallow balm. Pleasant Prairie Tallow has now expanded to offering a number of tallow-based skincare products, all which enhance the health and beauty of our skin.

Pleasant Prairie sources local, organic, grass-fed beef tallow for all of their products. Each product is hand-crafted, using the highest quality ingredients available, and organic ingredients whenever possible.
